"Mediterranean"

More than 16.265 people died in the mediterranean sea since 1988, trying to reach European mainland. Since the beginning of 2011 the numbers are 458.*

Frontex was founded 2004 to secure EU borders. If an EU country calls for help concerning refugees, Frontex organises troops to stop illegal immigration.**

Together with two colleagues I commissioned the following art project for our project week at the kunstschule in Vienna.
